About Stacey

Hi, I’m Stacey

I am a degree-qualified acupuncturist and I have a homebased clinic in Gateshead. I am also a member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC) which is the leading professional body for traditional acupuncturists in the UK.

I studied for four years at the Northern College of Acupuncture and hold a BSc honours degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture. During the course, I studied modules in both Chinese Medicine and Biomedicine, completed thorough practical assessments and completed over 400 clinical hours treating patients under supervision.

Before becoming an acupuncturist, I worked with charities for over 10 years. During this time, I worked with a range of organisations - including those supporting people experiencing mental health issues and people with learning disabilities and autism. It was a very meaningful experience and the people I had the privledge of working with are at the heart of how I practice today. They gave me an understanding of how important it is to be truly listened to, which is something I take into each and every treatment.

I have a particular interest in women’s health and chronic conditions, where I believe gentle and consistent treatment can really make a big difference. From both clinical and personal experience, I understand how benefical a holistic approach can be in understanding these complex and layered conditions.

Outside of clinic you’ll find me at my happiest when I am wandering somewhere green and quiet, being part of a choir or spending time with loved ones.

If you would like to find out more about acupunctue or working together -

I would love to hear from you.
